office 2007 : windows installer cannot update one or more protected windows files

Mungkin ada rekan rekan yang kebingungan ketika Install Microsoft Office 2007, tiba tiba muncul pesan : “windows installer cannot update one or more protected windows files” dan instalasi tidak dapat dilanjutkan … setelah searching dengan memasukkan kata kunci tersebut … ternyata solusinya mudah sekali.
Yang dibutuhkan untuk instalasi tersebut yaitu file Fp4Autl.dll, File Fp4Autl.dll dapat ditemukan pada Cd windows XP pada folder I386\FP40EXT.CAB.
Langkah berikutnya Extract file FP40EXT.CAB dan copy file Fp4Autl.dll .. ke folder c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\web server xtensions\40\bin
Setelah File tersebut di copy kan .. coba install kembali Ms office 2007 tersebut … dan hasilnya file tersebut, Fp4Autl.dll … dapat mengatasi pesan error : windows installer cannot update one or more protected windows files.
